Today, we are going to explain how to repair the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) and reset the EFS (Encrypting File System) on Xiaomi devices without the need for a server or authentication. Please note that this method has been tested and confirmed to work on various Xiaomi models, including Lisa, Vili, Sweet, Sweetin, Curtana, monet, rain-fog, ziyi, spes, and joyeuse. Note: Repairing the IMEI may not be legal in some countries, including Syria, Turkey, and the United States. Please respect and follow the laws of your country and do not engage in any illegal activities. The purpose of the articles on our website is to repair the IMEI number that was lost during a faulty phone flashing process, as indicated under the battery or on the back cover. Note 1: You must request bootloader unlocking and wait for it to be granted, which usually takes about a week.

Note 2: Do not perform any updates or factory resets on your device until the bootloader is unlocked because you will need to repeat the procedure.

Note 3: This method is only for repairing the first IMEI; if there are multiple IMEIs, additional steps may be required.

There are two methods to achieve this:

 

The First Method (Simpler):

 

Activate the DIAG mode by following the provided link.

Open the UMT interface and proceed as shown in the images.

The Second Method (More Complex): 

First, you need to back up the QCN (Qualcomm Calibration Network) from your device.

Activate the DIAG mode by following the provided link.

Select the NV method and write the first IMEI randomly, then click Repair.

Put the device in Mi Assistant mode by going from DFT to Mi Assistant mode and perform a Wipe EFS.

After the device boots up, enable Diag mode without root access and write the first IMEI.

Finally, write the QCN file.
