1- Open the DFT PRO interface and go to the Fastboot section, then the
Services tab
2- put the phone into fastboot mode, connect it to the computer, then click
on Scan Adb in order for the phone to be identified, then click on the Set
Active Slot A command
3- do the process of unlocking the bootloader using DFT PRO (choose the model or leave it on auto, there is no problem). choose the Unlock Bootloader (NEW) command
the phone will not boot. It will restart on the Redmi logo with white writing
on the screen without completing the boot. In this case, the phone must be
flashed (it is preferable to use the same ROM on the phone or a higher
version). Here, since the bootloader is open, you have two options if you are
interested in the existing user data. On the phone, flash it using the Mi Flash
Tool Pro program and select the Save User data option. If the existing data
does not interest you, select the clean all option. After completing the
flashing process, the phone will work without problems with an unlocked
bootloader.
Done.
